Day-by-Day

Day 1

Arrival to Krakow

Welcome to beautiful Poland, a country which has become a popular tourist destination for its medieval architecture, charming nature and delicious cuisine. Your guide meets you at the arrivals hall of Krakow airport and brings you to your centrally-located hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free.

Day 2

Krakow City Tour

Today following breakfast your guide takes you for a 3-hours panoramic walking tour around the charming Krakow. Having escaped destruction during World War II, the city retains its charming medieval shape.

Krakow life revolves around the largest square in Europe known as the Market square, where several of its architectural and cultural landmarks can be found. In the middle of the square, there is the magnificent 14th-century Cloth Hall (Sukiennice), which today hosts a market selling local artifacts and souvenirs on the ground floor. Opposite the Cloth Hall is the St. Mary's Cathedral, world famous for its altar carved by Wit Stwosz. You enter the cathedral to explore its interiors.

Then you walk along Kanonicza and Grodzka Streets, see the Collegium Maius, Jewish District of Kazimierz and magnificent Wawel Hill with a splendid 14th-century cathedral.

After the tour the rest of the day is free.

Day 3

Tour to Wieliczka Salt Mine

Following breakfast, your private English-speaking driver meets you in the hotel lobby and takes you to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, located about a 40-minute drive away.

  • Note: alternatively you may have a day tour to Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi concentration camp. Please, inform your travel specialist, which option do you prefer.

The Wieliczka Salt Mine is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Poland and a UNESCO-listed Heritage Site. The mine was opened in the 13th century and produced table salt until 2007, thus it is one of the world's oldest operating salt mines. The mine contains hundreds of kilometers of galleries with works of art, underground chapels and salt statues, which makes it a fascinating pilgrimage into the past.

The route for visitors covers a 3.5 km section located at a depth of 64 m to 135 m. Upon arrival to the mine, you have a group guided tour, the average duration of which is 3 hours.

On the way back you can stop at the restaurant and have some time for lunch. After the tour, you return to your Krakow hotel. The rest of the day is free.

Day 4

Free Day or Optional Tour

Today you have a free day to enjoy stunning Krakow on your own or to take an optional tour carefully prepared for you.

  • Optional tour: Tour to Auschwitz
  • Optional tour: Day Trip to Zakopane

Upon arrival, you are taken to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free.

Day 6

Warsaw City Tour

Today following breakfast you go on a 3-hour walking city tour of the amazing Polish capital. During the tour, your guide shows you the most magnificent city sights.

You start discovering Warsaw Old Town from its central Market Square from which narrow streets lead to medieval defensive walls. You proceed with exploring the exteriors of Warsaw Barbican - one of few remaining relics of fortifications that once encircled Warsaw. Situated between the Old and New Towns, it is a major tourist attraction.

Warsaw is the city of royal residences located all along the Royal Route. As part of the tour, you enter the stunning Royal Castle located on the Castle Square, at the entrance to the Warsaw Old Town. The castle served throughout the centuries as the official Polish monarchs' residence. You also visit the impressive St. John's Cathedral.

After the tour, you walk back to your hotel located in the very heart of the city. The rest of the day is at your own leisure.

Day 7

Free Day or Optional Tour

Today your day is free, so you can continue exploring the nearby attractions on your own, have lunch in a local restaurant or enjoy our optional tour.

  • Optional tour: Tour to Wilanow Palace, Warsaw

Set off on a 4-hour tour of Wilanow Palace, often called "Little Versailles" for its magnificent interiors, English park, and Italian Baroque garden. One of Poland's most important monuments, the palace used to be a residence of King Jan III Sobieski, who ruled Poland in the 17th century. During the tour, together with your guide, you explore the palace’s beautiful interiors as well as stunning natural terraces of Wilanow Park.

We had a top-notch tour to the UK. Even more than top-notch, "ace" as the locals say!

We had a top-notch tour to the UK in June 2016. Even more than top-notch, "ace" as the locals say! The Treasures of Britain tour my husband and I took was everything we wanted. We really liked the hotels we stayed in, each with its own charm and history. Particularly we would like to note breakfasts in the hotel in ...

Superb tour to Italy! You really deserve a round of applause

I wasn't sure what to expect from our trip to Italy but my mom and I were very surprised with how smoothly everything went. Only a few minor hiccups that were too minor to even mention. We enjoyed the guided tours because all the views were really great and the buildings so old. The sites were a bit crowded but still ...

London, Brussels, Amsterdam Tour (May 2017)

Overall, very good. The group did not like starting off on a crowded 20-stop subway journey instead of the Heathrow Express. Guides were great. Brussels was 50/50 with the group. If we had more interior visits, it would have been better. We will eliminate the Hague next time, and spend more time in Rotterdam. ...
