After a 45-minute drive from Lisbon, arrive in the enchanting town of Sintra and visit the stunning Pena Palace, perched high on the mountain.
Begin with a guided walk through the serene Pena Park, offering a peaceful escape from the crowds, before exploring the vibrant terraces of the palace. Learn about its history and architecture, with free time to visit the ornate rooms inside.
Around lunchtime, stop in Sintra's Old Town, where you can choose between a quick snack and visiting the National Palace or enjoying a sit-down meal and exploring the charming streets.
After lunch (not included), head to the dramatic Atlantic coastline to visit Azenhas do Mar and Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe.
