Welcome to Lisbon — the fabulous capital of Portugal! Upon arrival at Lisbon Airport, make your way to your hotel for check-in.

From Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS), you can easily reach the city center in several ways:

• The fastest and most affordable option is the Metro (Red Line), which connects the airport to the city center in about 20–30 minutes, with a transfer to the Green or Blue Line depending on your hotel’s location.
• Aerobus or Carris public buses offer convenient connections to central areas, including stops near major squares and train stations.
• Official taxi services are also available; travel time is usually 20–30 minutes depending on traffic and your hotel’s location.
• Alternatively, you may book a private transfer with us, with a driver waiting for you at the airport and taking you directly to your hotel for a smooth and comfortable arrival.

The rest of the day is free, so you can start exploring the magnificent city center on your own, dine in one of the local restaurants, or take a good rest in your comfortable room.

Best of Lisbon Walking Tour

Step into history at Carmo Square, where the Carnation Revolution of 1974 ended 48 years of dictatorship. Continue through the elegant Chiado district, famous for its historic cafés, theatres, and bookstores, and enjoy a taste of the iconic pastel de nata.

Pause to sample Portugal’s refreshing green wine with tapas at a cozy wine bar. Visit Lisbon Cathedral, the city’s oldest church, dating back to 1147, and finish at Praça do Comércio, one of Europe’s most impressive squares and once the city’s main gateway.

Sintra's Historical and Natural Gems
After a 45-minute drive from Lisbon, arrive in the enchanting town of Sintra and visit the stunning Pena Palace, perched high on the mountain.

Begin with a guided walk through the serene Pena Park, offering a peaceful escape from the crowds, before exploring the vibrant terraces of the palace. Learn about its history and architecture, with free time to visit the ornate rooms inside.

Around lunchtime, stop in Sintra's Old Town, where you can choose between a quick snack and visiting the National Palace or enjoying a sit-down meal and exploring the charming streets.

After lunch (not included), head to the dramatic Atlantic coastline to visit Azenhas do Mar and Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe.

Note: Monument tickets are not included. The activity provider will purchase tickets to Pena Park (only the exterior of Pena Palace will be visited) and Quinta da Regaleira in advance. Kindly have €30 per person in cash ready for reimbursement.

• Metro: An efficient and budget-friendly alternative:
• • Oriente Station — accessible via the Red Line.
  • Santa Apolónia Station — accessible via the Blue Line.
• Alternatively, you may book a private transfer with us, with a driver who will pick you up from the hotel and take you directly to the train station for a smooth and comfortable departure.

We recommend allowing sufficient time for the transfer, especially during peak hours, to ensure a smooth departure.

From Porto’s main train stations, you can easily reach the city center in several ways:

• From Campanhã Station:
  The fastest and most convenient option is the metro (Lines A, B, C, or E), which connects Campanhã to Trindade Station in the city center in about 5–10 minutes.
• From São Bento Station:
  You are already in the heart of Porto’s historic center, within walking distance of many hotels and major attractions.
• Official taxi services are also available from both stations, with travel time usually 10–15 minutes, depending on traffic and your hotel’s location.
• Alternatively, you may book a private transfer with us, with a driver waiting for you at the train station and taking you directly to your hotel for a smooth and comfortable arrival.

• STCP public buses: Several bus lines operate between different areas of the city and the airport, offering a budget-friendly alternative (travel time may be longer depending on traffic).
• Official taxi services: The journey usually takes 20–30 minutes, depending on traffic and your hotel’s location.
• Alternatively, you may book a private transfer with us, with a driver picking you up from your hotel and taking you directly to the airport for a smooth and comfortable departure.
