Your tour begins in Maruyama Park, the most popular cherry blossom viewing spot in Kyoto. Wander beneath the expansive boughs of its famous weeping cherry tree, which becomes a focal point during the season, beautifully illuminated at night to enhance the viewing experience.

Continue along the Philosopher's Path, a tranquil walkway that follows a cherry-tree-lined canal. Visit the Heian Shrine with its sprawling gardens and a large torii gate. The shrine's garden is a less crowded spot known for its late-blooming cherry trees and features a variety of blossoms that complement the traditional architecture beautifully.

Conclude your tour at Kiyomizu-dera, a UNESCO World Heritage site, offering spectacular views of the city and mountains, framed by cherry trees. The temple’s veranda is an ideal place to capture the panoramic beauty of Kyoto in spring.

Conclude your day with a Japanese tea ceremony experience that provides an engaging introduction to the traditional tea ceremony. Himeji Castle Tour

Today, you'll meet your private driver and begin your journey to Himeji Castle, a World Heritage Site renowned for its striking pure white walls, often hailed as the most beautiful in Japan. As you explore the castle's interior, you'll encounter historical artifacts and warfare equipment from 400 years ago, offering a glimpse into the life of the samurai who once inhabited it.

Next, you'll board the Mt. Shosha Ropeway, which offers breathtaking views as it transports you to the serene heights of Mt. Shosha. Make a stop at Kuromon Ichiba, a venerable fish market that has shaped Osaka's gastronomic identity for over a century and a half. Next, pass by the Osaka Mint Bureau, known for its collection of 100+ sakura varieties, offering beautiful views of blooming trees. Then, visit Shitennoji Temple, where around 50 cherry trees create a peaceful, spiritual setting.

Head to the Expo ‘70 Commemorative Park, with over 5,000 cherry trees lining its paths, and enjoy the magical evening light-ups. End with a relaxing walk along the O River, near Kema Sakuranomiya Park, for a tranquil finale to your cherry blossom journey.

Departure
After breakfast and check-out your private driver transfers you to the Osaka airport or train station depending on where you go next.
