  • Eurasian climates are unpredictable and weather can be quite harsh even during summers
  • Bringing a water-resistant jacket, umbrella, and some warm clothes will ensure that you enjoy the trip during any weather
  • Usual tip size in restaurants is 10% of the check. Recommended tips for guides and drivers is $8-12 per day for a great level of service
  • You should bring a few hundred dollars with you on the trip to pay for food as trains do not have ATM machines
