Arrive in Geneva and transfer to Chamonix, the world-renowned alpine resort and mountaineering hub of France.
Upon arrival, enjoy your first breathtaking views of Mont Blanc and take some time to relax at your comfortable Chamonix hotel, preparing for the adventure ahead.

Chamonix to Les Contamines
Begin the day with a cable car ride to the Voza Pass, then follow an undulating trail through alpine pastures and pine forests, over the Tricot Pass, and into the tranquil Miage Valley, one of the most picturesque corners of the TMB.
You’ll pass a tiny hamlet of stone houses, where cows and horses graze peacefully beneath hanging glaciers.
Hike: 8 miles (13 km)
Elevation: +2,180 ft / –4,260 ft


Reaching Les Contamines-Montjoie
Your day concludes in the charming village of Les Contamines, where you’ll spend the night in a local hotel. Your luggage will be waiting for you, allowing you to relax and enjoy the village’s alpine atmosphere.

Les Contamines to Les Chapieux
A short bus ride or a gentle valley walk brings you to the trailhead at Notre-Dame-de-la-Gorge, a small chapel rebuilt in 1699 at the valley’s end. From here, follow an ancient Roman road as you ascend steadily across two alpine passes: the Col du Bonhomme and Col de la Croix du Bonhomme.

Reaching Les Chapieux
After a scenic lunch near the pass, you’ll descend through traditional alpine landscapes into the charming hamlet of Les Chapieux, surrounded by grazing livestock and dramatic mountain scenery. Then take a private taxi to nearby Bourg St Maurice, where we have a lovely hotel for the night.
Overnight in Bourg-Saint-Maurice
Bourg-Saint-Maurice is a lively alpine town and an important mountain gateway, well known as the access point to Les Arcs ski area. Here, you’ll settle into your hotel, with time to relax, stroll through town, or enjoy a well-earned dinner after a rewarding day on the trail.

Bourg‑Saint‑Maurice to Courmayeur
A short transfer brings you to the trailhead in the Valle des Glaciers. Leaving France behind, hike gradually through quiet alpine pastures to the Col de la Seigne and into Italy.
From the pass, enjoy spectacular views of the Veny Valley, Mont Blanc, and the Aiguille Noire de Peuterey.
Hike: 10 miles (16 km)
Elevation: +2,570 ft / –2,950 ft
Reaching Courmayeur
Continue your descent through the valley and transfer to the medieval village of Courmayeur, known for its narrow cobbled streets and lively, pedestrian-only center, where you will spend the night at a comfortable local hotel, with time to relax and enjoy the alpine atmosphere.

Departure
Your Tour du Mont-Blanc comes to a close, but the memories remain: high mountain passes, quiet valleys, and unforgettable views of Europe’s highest peak. As you depart, you carry with you the rhythm of the trail and the lasting magic of the Alps.
