Tour of the Barcelona Gothic Quarter

Following breakfast, your guide will greet you in the hotel lobby to embark on an incredible half-day walking tour of Barcelona's most remarkable attractions.

Barcelona boasts one of the largest and most architecturally diverse medieval districts in Europe. During the tour, you'll explore Barcelona's Old Town, known as "Casc Antic," and its medieval landmarks.

You'll stroll through the maze of narrow streets in the Gothic Quarter, which was formed around the Roman forum. Then, you'll see both the exterior and interior of the Barcelona Cathedral, pass through the former Jewish District "Call," the Sant Jaume Square, view the Generalitat Palace and City Hall from the outside, pass the Square of the King and the former Royal Palace.

Next, you'll head to the Ribera shore district to see the Santa Maria del Mar church, which was once the residence of sailors, traders, and craftsmen who lived and worked there during the Middle Ages.

The tour concludes on La Rambla, the most vibrant street in Barcelona, where you can unwind at one of the open-air terraces.

After the tour, you'll return to your hotel and have the remainder of the day to enjoy at your leisure.
