Day 1: Arrival in Madrid

Welcome to the capital of Spain and one of the most beautiful cities in the world - Madrid! Upon arrival your driver meets you at the airport and transfers you to your downtown hotel for check-in.

The rest of the day is free so you can start exploring the magnificent old town on your own, dine in one of the authentic local restaurants or take a good rest in your comfortable room.

Day 2: Madrid Old Town Tour

Following breakfast at your hotel you meet your guide and enjoy a fascinating sightseeing tour around the most brilliant attractions of Madrid de los Austrias - the amazing old town of the Spanish capital that treasures historical monuments dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries when Spain was ruled by the House of the Hapsburgh.

During the tour you take a walk around Plaza de Oriente, enter the gorgeous Royal Palace called Palacio Real, see the beautiful exteriors of the Catedral Nuestra Senora de la Almudena and stroll through Major Street.

Next you proceed to Plaza de la Villa, stop by St. Michel's Market and walk down the picturesque Cava de San Miguel. Your tour finishes at iconic Plaza Mayor and breathtaking Puerta del Sol.

After the touring is over you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.

Day 3: Exploring Treasures of Toledo

This day is devoted entirely to the exploration of Toledo - the former Spanish capital and one of the oldest towns in Europe.

Following breakfast in your Madrid hotel you walk to the train station and enjoy a 30-minute train ride to Toledo (regular class train tickets to and from Toledo are included).

Upon arrival, your local guide meets you at the train station and takes you on a city tour around the mesmerizing landmarks of the ancient Toledo.

During the tour you walk through the cobblestone streets of the Old Town, explore the fortified city walls and see the famous UNESCO World Heritage-listed medieval architecture, including the 13th-century Cathedral of Toledo and Sinagogue (entrances included).

After the tour you return to Madrid by train and spend an overnight in your downtown hotel.

Day 4: Madrid of the Bourbons, Prado Museum & Train to Seville

Following breakfast at your hotel you meet your guide and go on a walking tour to discover Madrid of the Bourbons - the historical area around the Prado Museum.

During the tour you pass the Parque del Retiro, Puerta de Alcala, Plaza Cibeles, and three monumental fountains: Cibeles, Apolo and Neptuno. Next you proceed to the Spanish Parliament building, see the Atocha train station and explore the area of the Golden Triangle of Art made up of three most important art museums of Madrid - the Prado, the Thyssen-Bornemitza and the Reina Sofia.

The highlight of the tour is a visit to one of the world's greatest art galleries and Madrid's top cultural sight - the Prado Museum. This venue houses a unique collection of Spanish fine art displayed in the halls and rooms of this 18th-century Neo-Classical building. You see the most significant gems of the museum's collection, including the famous masterpieces of El Greco, Velazquez, Goya, Raphael and Rubens.

After the tour you return to your hotel and have a transfer to the railway station for a 2,5-hour high-speed train ride to Seville (first class tickets are included).

Upon arrival you are transferred to your downtown hotel.

Day 5: Visit of the Seville Cathedral & Alcazar

After breakfast at your hotel you meet with your guide in the hotel lobby and have a panoramic city tour of Seville.

Today you get to experience authentic Andalusian spirit in one of its most important cities. Your sightseeing program features top sights including the symbol of the city - the Giralda Tower, and visit to the Seville Cathedral and the Real Alcazar of Seville - the oldest European royal residence composed of a group of buildings from different time periods (entrances included). Your tour finishes at the scenic Plaza de Espana - a dazzling palace complex dating back to the epoch of Renaissance and considered to be among the most beautiful complexes of its kind in the world.

Day 6: Free Day in Seville

This day is free for you to enjoy and explore Seville on your own. Alternatively, you can join one of our carefully planned optional day trips to Jerez & Cadiz or Ronda & White Village.

Optional tour: Day Trip to Jerez and Cadiz from Seville
Enrich your trip by going to Jerez and Cadiz, which are among the oldest cities in Europe with more than 3 millennia of history. Together with your private guide and driver make your way from Seville to the Bay of Cadiz and make a stop in Jerez to discover its old town. As a special experience, you visit one of the local wine cellars for a wine tasting, as Jerez is famous for sherry wines. Then continue to Cadiz where you visit the oldest neighborhoods, see the city hall and the main sights. Optionally you can choose to enjoy the afternoon in one of its beaches or walking the narrow streets of the Barrio de la Vina or El Populo.

Optional tour: Day Trip to Ronda and White Villages from Seville
Travel through the ancient Andalusian kingdoms of Castille and Granada. Together with your private guide and driver see the medieval Castle of Las Aguzaderas and one of the picturesque Pueblos Blancos (white villages) of the Sierra de Grazalema. While passing the Natural Park Sierra de Grazalema enjoy amazing views and if you're lucky, see Griffon vultures in their natural habitat. Then continue to Ronda, one of the oldest towns in Spain built on two different cliffs connected by the most famous bridge in Spain. Explore the town's main sights and visit the bullring in Ronda.

Day 7: Exploring Cordoba Highlights

Following breakfast you check out from your hotel and meet your private driver at the hotel lobby. Your driver takes you to Cordoba where you arrive in approximately 2 hours.

Upon arrival you meet your local guide and enjoy a 3-hour guided walking tour around the most outstanding sights of Cordoba that used to be the largest city of Roman Spain.

While exploring the city with your guided tour you see the beautiful Roman Bridge, the famous 14th-century Royal Castle - Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos, and the Great Mosque of Cordoba that is the oldest mosque in Europe.

After the tour of Cordoba and some time for lunch you continue your journey with your private driver to your centrally located hotel in Granada. You arrive at your hotel in approximately 2 hours and after check-in you have the evening at leisure.

Day 8: Exploring Alhambra of Granada & Evening Tapas Tour

In the morning after breakfast your guide takes you on a wonderful sightseeing tour of Granada, known as the last stronghold of the Moors in Western Europe full of numerous historical sights and medieval architecture.

During the tour you see the main treasures of Granada including one of Spain's most visited attractions - the Alhambra Fortress that used to be the residence of the Muslim rulers and their court. Get awe-inspired by its numerous arabesques, porticos, pools and Islamic ornamental masterpieces of its hallways.

After the tour you return to your hotel and have have some time at your leisure to prepare for your evening Tapas Tour.

Day 9: Free Day in Granada & Flamenco Show

The first part of the day is free for you to enjoy and explore Seville on your own. Alternatively, you can book our carefully planned Sierra Nevada Safari.

Optional tour: Sierra Nevada Safari Trip, Granada
Discover the best views of the Sierra Nevada mountains in the province of Granada as you travel by 4WD vehicle together with your guide and driver. Enjoy the highest peaks on the Iberian Peninsula, pass old white mountain villages, lakes and incredible forests. See Sierra de Huetor Natural Park and old fortifications from the days of the Spanish Civil War, explore the El Albaicin district where the Moorish medieval past can still be experienced in the narrow streets running up to the Alhambra.

In the evening prepare for one of the highlights of your trip - visit to a Flamenco performance in the caves of Granada. Transfers to the show are not included.

Day 10: Departure

Today is the last day of your journey around Central and Southern Spain. Your driver meets you at the hotel lobby and takes you to the airport. We hope to see you soon again!
