Day 1 Rome

Arrival
Welcome to Rome - one of the most charming cities and capital of Italy. Upon arrival, you are met by your private driver at the airport, who transfers you to the hotel.

The rest of the day is free so you can start exploring the magnificent city center on your own, dine in one of the local restaurants or take a good rest in your comfortable room.

Highlights of Rome
The guide will meet you at the pick up location in the city center. We will provide all the details as well as the map link once booked.

Today you will embark on a panoramic walking city tour to see the most famous attractions and hidden treasures of the Eternal City. 

You see the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the famous Fountain of the Four Rivers, as well as witness the masterpieces by Bernini, Borromini, and many others.

After the tour you have the evening at leisure.

Day 3 Rome

Vatican Sightseeing
The guide will meet you at the pick up location in the city center. We will provide all the details as well as the map link once booked.

When inside the Vatican, you visit private apartments of Julius II, Pinecone Courtyard, Gallery of the Maps, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of Candelabra.

Next, you proceed to the Sistine Chapel, where you have enough time to admire Michelangelo's famous frescoes and learn about the intense relationship between Pope Julius II and Michelangelo that drove the artist to create the greatest work of art the world has ever known.

Then your tour continues in the vast open spaces of St. Peter’s Basilica, a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture and one of the most iconic landmarks in the world. As you step into the basilica, you'll be awestruck by the grandeur of its immense, ornately decorated interiors.

The last stop of your tour is St. Peter’s Square, where you can admire Michelangelo's Dome and the gorgeous colonnades designed by Bernini.

After the tour you have the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the beauty of Rome on your own.

*Please note: the Vatican is a sacred religious site thus the dress code for visiting it is applied just as when you visit any church in Italy: no shorts – no uncovered knees and shoulders, no backpacks. Due to religious services St. Peters Basilica may be spontaneously closed, thus entrance to St. Peters Basilica may not be guaranteed.

Day 4 Rome

Discovering Ancient Rome
The guide will meet you at the pick up location in the city center. We will provide all the details as well as the map link once booked.

Today you will discover the famous ancient treasures of the Eternal City on a walking tour. 

Your first stop today is the iconic Roman Forum, situated on low ground between the Palatine and Capitoline hills, it was the key political, ritual, and civic center of ancient Rome and can be traced 3 thousand years back. Today you can see columns and remains of ancient temples, archs and buildings, such as the Temple of Caesar and the Arch of Septimius Severus, as well as the adjacent Palatine Hill, which was the site of the city’s first settlements. 

The next place you discover today is Rome's hallmark site - the Colosseum. Originally known by the name of Flavius amphitheatre, it was the biggest and most imposing building of its kind in the Roman world, designed as an arena for the fights of Roman gladiators and could hold up to 70 thousand spectators.

Day 5 Rome

Departure 
Following breakfast, you check-out from the hotel in Rome and your driver takes you to the rail station to board the train to Naples.

Description for connection

Accompanied by your personal driver, you embark on a journey to Sorrento. En route, you stop at Pompeii, where your dedicated private guide assists you in exploring the archaeological wonders of Pompeii.

In 79 AD Pompeii, one of the greatest and richest cities of the Roman age, was tragically completely destroyed as a result of the volcanic eruption of Mount Vesuvius.

During the 2-hour tour of this unique UNESCO World Heritage Site you see the artifacts, city walls and other excavated finds, buried alive under 4 to 6 m (13-20 ft) of volcanic ash almost 2000 years ago, that give you a detailed insight into the life of the city.

Day 5 Sorrento

Arrival in Sorrento
After the tour of Pompeii you arrive in Sorrento and have a check-in to the hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure.

Day 6 Sorrento

Amalfi Coast Tour
Following breakfast in the hotel, you meet your guide and driver at the pick up location in the city center for a scenic 6-hour trip around the scenic Amalfi Coast. We will provide all the details as well as the map link once booked.

During this tour, you stop at the Belvedere of Madonnina to take in the breathtaking views of Positano from above.

Then you proceed to the old picturesque Positano center where you enjoy a walking tour and marvel at splendid panoramas of the Amalfi Coast.

One more highlight of the tour is a visit to the medieval Cathedral of Saint Andrew and adjacent to it Cloister of Paradise in the city of Amalfi. 

After the tour, you are transferred to the hotel in Sorrento.

Day 7 Sorrento

Departure from Naples 
This is the final day of your trip. After breakfast, you check-out from the hotel and your private driver transfers you to the Naples Airport or train station. We wish you a safe flight and hope to work on your future vacations!

*Note: Departure transfer is included to Naples train station or Naples airport. Should you require a departure transfer to Rome airport, this service could be provided for an additional fee.
