Welcome to the fabulous capital of Ireland - Dublin! Upon arrival, your driver meets you at the exit gate and transfers you to your centrally located hotel for the check-in.

The rest of the day free so you can start exploring the magnificent city center on your own, dine in one of the local restaurants or take a good rest in your comfortable room. As an option, you may take the famous Luas - a modern local tram.

After breakfast, this morning, meet your guide in the hotel lobby and carry on to a walking city tour of Dublin.

During the sightseeing tour, you see many of Dublin's icons while being guided to some hidden and wonderful spots that visitors most often miss. You see Dublin Castle, Christchurch Cathedral, the famous Ha’penny Bridge, the Georgian doors of Dublin and Trinity College Library where you explore the famous Book of Kells.

You have a guided group tour of the original Jameson Distillery on Bow St. where it all began in 1780. The former factory founded by John Jameson where Jameson Irish Whiskey was distilled until 1971 now stands as a monument to Irish Whiskey. Here you explore the history and heritage and enjoy a comparative whiskey tasting.

After the tour, you have the afternoon at leisure. In the evening we invite you to enjoy a show of traditional Irish music, dance, and dinner for which Ireland is famous worldwide. The cast of dancers from Riverdance and Lord of the Dance will provide you with the flavor of different styles of Irish dance. Transfers for the show are not included, you may take a taxi or walk to the Belvedere.

Following breakfast, you check out from the hotel and meet with your hiking group. Together you have a transfer to scenic Macreddin Village.

After check-in in your hotel, you have some time to rest. Later, your group has a transfer to the village of Aughrim for a light evening walk. The village is called "the Granite City" due to a large number of buildings, built out of locally quarried Wicklow Granite. After the tour, you return to Macreddin Village.

Hiking in the Glendalough Valley

After breakfast, start your walk on the Wicklow Way that is described as the oldest and one of the most scenic long-distance linear walks in Ireland. Your group has a transfer to the amazing valley of Glendalough, its name translates as "the Valley of The Two Lakes". Your walking route takes you to the 6th-century Monastic Settlement where you can explore some of the well-preserved monuments and ruined churches.

Your today's route also includes the glacier molded valley with its two beautiful lakes, the Pollanass Waterfall and the Derrybawn Woods. The glorious views over the Glendalough Valley and the surrounding countryside are the highlights of today's hike. After the tour, you return to Macreddin Village.

After breakfast and a short transfer to the enchanting Ballard Forest, you start a new walking adventure. Today your route passes the evidence of a forgotten farming community and follows a winding trail up the heather-covered Trooperstown Hill. Today's itinerary offers wonderful views over the hills, the Wicklow Mountains, the Irish Sea, and the Round Tower of Glendalough.

Later your route descends into the Trooperstown Forest, over the Avonmore River and up the Paddock Hill where you join the Wicklow Way once again. After the tour, you are transferred to Macreddin Village and have an evening at leisure.

  • Please, note: the hiking distance is approximately 17 km (10.5 mi), the ascent 350 m (1.050 ft).

After breakfast and a short transfer, you start hiking in the Vale of Clara, a gorgeous nature reserve, containing the largest area of natural hardwood woodlands in Ireland.

You enjoy a walk in the forest, followed by lunch on the banks of the Avonmore River near the charming church of Clara. The tour continues with a visit to the famous Avoca Woollen Mills where you have some time to explore the historical mill. Afterward, you return back to your hotel in Macreddin Village.

In the morning, you travel north to follow the picturesque trail along the coast, going from Greystones to scenic Bray. The stunning coastal path leads to the top of Bray Head. Once you reach it, you have one more chance to take in the stunning beauty of the Irish Sea, the Wicklow Mountains, and Bray.

Afterward, you head to the beautiful Powerscourt Estate, Ireland's most famous House and Gardens. Following the tour, you are transferred back to Macreddin Village.
