Legend has it that the Saint Benezet Bridge was constructed by a young shepherd named Benezet after he heard voices instructing him to do so. Today, this iconic landmark attracts over 300,000 visitors each year and is famously sung about in the French nursery rhyme "Sur le Pont d’Avignon."
