Half-Day Guided City Tour

In the morning, meet your local guide in Ponta Delgada, the picturesque historical capital of the Azores. This 4-hour walking tour features cobblestone streets, a local market called Mercado da Graça, and a Natural History Museum in the former monastery of Saint Andrew. Upon reaching the Church of Mother of God, you'll be able to see the sea and city, as well as Antonio Borges Botanic Garden. 

*Note: Roundtrip transfers to the hotel are included.

Half-Day Private Tour to Caldeira das Sete Cidades

You will be met by your driver-guide after breakfast to take a tour of Sao Miguel Island.

We will visit Caldeira das Sete Cidades, one of the main natural attractions on So Miguel. During a large prehistoric eruption, a giant crater collapsed, creating the paradisiacal landscape of Caldeira das Sete.

The Miradouro da Vista do Rei offers a magnificent view along with a short kayaking tour. 

Now is the time for the view you have all been waiting for - Miradouro da Boca do Inferno. Enjoy one of the island's best spots and spend as much time as you like taking in the view.

The tour concludes with a transfer back to the hotel.

Furnas Hotspring Tour

A full-day tour of Furnas Hotsprings begins this morning when your expert guide and driver pick you up at your hotel.

In Furnas, you will find fumaroles, thermal pools at 39 degrees Celsius, and some architecture with British influences dating back to the 18th century.

The tour will show us how Furnas stew is cooked, with an average cooking time of six hours, beneath the surface and using only volcanic vapors to cook. 

There is also a lake at Furnas, stunning gardens, hot springs, 22 different types of water, and a botanical park with a thermal pool. There is a wonderful beach near a fishing village called Ribeira Quente, accessed by a valley with several waterfalls and a stream that collects all the water from the 54 springs in Furnas.

Private transportation will be provided to and from your hotel after the tour.

Pico Island Tour with Wine and Cheese Tasting

Pico Island awaits you after breakfast, as your driver and guide take you on an exciting tour!

We will begin by exploring the central plateau. Next, we will explore one of the island's most beautiful caves. Following that, we will search for the reflection of Pico Mountain in the second largest lake of the island. After passing through the central plateau, we will see the island from the height of the third highest volcano, giving us an amazing view.  

During our visit to the village of Lajes and the whaling museum, you will learn more about how whaling came to be such a significant tradition in Azores.  

A refreshing dip in a natural pool will be our first stop on our way to the vineyards. After exploring the epicenter of the grape production, it's time to taste the fruits of their labors.  

At the end of the day, you will have the chance to taste famous local wines and cheeses.

Day Trip to Faial Island

In the morning, we set off on a day trip to Faial Island after breakfast at the hotel.  

Learn about the geological history of this island and others of the Azores by exploring the blue island and its volcano.

Discover the natural beauty of hydrangeas and pastures along walking paths. Learn about the adventures of some adventurers at Horta Marina as you stroll through it. 

Upon returning to Pico Island, you board a ferry.

Angra do Heroísmo & Terceira Island Tour

As soon as you wake up in the morning, meet your personal guide and head to Angra do Heroísmo City Tour. Throughout the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, Angra do Heroismo was a port of call for African and Indian fleets during the Discoveries. According to UNESCO, it was classified as a World Heritage Site in 1983. Wander the streets of Angra, a city born for trade and navigation and influenced by the Renaissance and the Discoveries. Experience the power and majesty of a powerful fortress. The history of this city is told by its monuments, by its art treasures.

After lunch (not included), you will visit Monte Brasil, Serra do Cume, Algar do Carvão, natural swimming pools, and enjoy a local meal.  Get to know the authentic food of Terceira and taste dishes like Alcatra de Carne (pot roast cooked in large unglazed red clay pots).

As soon as you have finished your breakfast and checked out of the hotel, you depart from Terceira.

We advise to have an extra service - Whale Watching before you leave this magnificent island.  The activity is usually schedule for the early morning.
