Day-by-Day

Day 1

Arrival to London

Welcome to the incredible capital of the United Kingdom - London! Upon arrival, your driver meets you at the airport and assists you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free so you can start exploring the magnificent city center on your own, dine in one of the local restaurants or take a good rest in your comfortable room. For the afternoon activity, we would recommend visiting The British Museum or the National Gallery.

Day 2

Royal London

Following breakfast in your hotel, you begin to explore the iconic landmarks of London. We have booked a 2-day pass for London tube for you, so you can experience famous London transportation system and save time on traffic. Together with your professional guide, you begin your tour with the legendary Tower of London. Your tour continues with a walk to the absolutely un-missable must-sees of the city: the 700-year-old Westminster Abbey and one of London's most famous landmarks - the Houses of Parliament's iconic clock tower Big Ben, officially known as Elizabeth Tower. After the tour, you return back to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore London.

Day 3

Free Day to Explore London

Today is a free day for you to explore London! There is still plenty to see, and one of the suggestions would be to visit The Shard skyscraper, which opens great panoramic views of the city. Or, visit Windsor Castle, located about an hour away from the city. We can plan your optional tour with a professional guide and train/tube ($243 per person)

Day 4

Bath UNESCO Heritage & Stonehenge

This morning after breakfast you check out from your hotel. You are transferred to the train station where you board a train that takes you to exhilarating Bath in only 1.5 hours. Founded by the Romans as a thermal spa, Bath became an important center of the wool industry in the Middle Ages. In the 18th century, under George III, it developed into an elegant town with neoclassical Palladian buildings, which blend harmoniously with the Roman baths. Today you see the highlights of the city and its most interesting sights together with your professional guide. An absolute highlight of the day is a short drive to the mysterious Stonehenge, which is one of the most famous prehistoric monuments in the world. After the tour, you return to Bath, where you check-in a centrally located hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5

Tour around Cotswolds

The Cotswolds is one of the most 'quintessentially English' and unchanged regions of England where you cannot help but fall in love with its uniqueness. Today following breakfast you go on a tour around the stunning Cotswolds countryside. During the tour, you visit Castle Combe, named "most beautiful village in England". Then on to Malmesbury, continue to Lower Slaughter. After the tour, you return to Bath and have the rest of the day free.

Day 6

Cross Country to York

This morning after breakfast you check out from the hotel. You are then taken to the train station for your cross-country train from Bath to York. The duration of the train ride is approximately 4 hours. Upon arrival to York, you are transferred to your downtown hotel for check-in. Today you get to learn about the architecture, important characters, and brutal battles that have made York a cultural pilgrimage. Nearly becoming the capital of England, it was first found by Romans in 71 AD. During the guided orientation walking tour of York you explore the ancient city walls, see the picturesque Shambles and the magnificent York Minster. After the tour, you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 7

Free day for Yorkshire

Today is free for you to explore York and its surroundings. We will be glad to arrange a tour around Yorkshire countryside and Castles for you. In the late afternoon, you take a train to Edinburgh, arriving in the city around 8 pm. Your driver meets you at the train station and takes you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free.

Day 8

Edinburgh Royal Mile

Today is the first day of touring the capital of Scotland - Edinburgh! Following breakfast, you meet with a guide in a lobby for a start of a tour of the Royal Mile. Your tour includes a tour inside of the Edinburgh Castle to explore this famous fortification and enjoy great panoramic views of the city. After the tour (around 4 hours) you return to your hotel.

  • Optional activity: Royal Yacht Britannia Tour Explore Edinburgh's number one attraction, the Royal Yacht Britannia which was the sea-bound home to Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Family for over 40 years

Day 9

Free Day in Edinburgh

Today is free for you to enjoy and explore Edinburgh. We recommend visiting the Scotish Gallery of Arts, the Queens Gallery, or the famous "Our Dynamic Earth" exhibition. Or, take a day-long optional trip to Lockness with a local group tour, to explore the famous lake and its surroundings.

What to Know

  • It rains a lot in the UK throughout the year, we suggest bringing a water-resistant jacket and an umbrella
  • Many of the tours will require a lot of walking, make sure to pack comfortable shoes
  • Currency in the UK is British Pound, also known as Pound Sterling. Most of the places accept credit/debit card payments, and there are plenty of ATMs available. Although, to avoid any local currency exchange fees we suggest withdrawing some cash prior the trip

We had a top-notch tour to the UK. Even more than top-notch, "ace" as the locals say!

We had a top-notch tour to the UK in June 2016. Even more than top-notch, "ace" as the locals say! The Treasures of Britain tour my husband and I took was everything we wanted. We really liked the hotels we stayed in, each with its own charm and history. Particularly we would like to note breakfasts in the hotel in ...

Superb tour to Italy! You really deserve a round of applause

I wasn't sure what to expect from our trip to Italy but my mom and I were very surprised with how smoothly everything went. Only a few minor hiccups that were too minor to even mention. We enjoyed the guided tours because all the views were really great and the buildings so old. The sites were a bit crowded but still ...

London, Brussels, Amsterdam Tour (May 2017)

Overall, very good. The group did not like starting off on a crowded 20-stop subway journey instead of the Heathrow Express. Guides were great. Brussels was 50/50 with the group. If we had more interior visits, it would have been better. We will eliminate the Hague next time, and spend more time in Rotterdam. ...
