Electricity Plugs in Norway

Before going on a trip to this Scandinavian country it is handy to know that Norway electricity plugs may differ from the ones used in your home country, for instance, they are not the same as the ones used in the USA, Canada, and most Central and South American countries.
The Norway voltage in sockets is 220V. For this reason, in order to use and charge your appliances in Norway plug adaptors or special converters that are designed for working in the Norway plug type will be necessary. Just like in most other countries in Europe, Europlugs are plugs with two round pins and are the ones that fit in Norway power outlets.
As regards adaptors, they can be bought on the spot, yet it is recommended to be prepared and it’s advised to purchase them prior to your travel to avoid worries.
