Day-by-Day

Day 1

Arrival in Vilnius

Welcome to the cozy capital of Lithuania, Vilnius! Upon arrival your driver meets you at the airport and transfers you to your downtown hotel for check-in.

The rest of the day is free so you can start exploring the magnificent old town on your own, dine in one of the authentic local restaurants or take a good rest in your comfortable room.

 

Day 2

Vilnius Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, you check out from the hotel. Then meet your guide in the hotel lobby and go on a 3-hour walking city tour around the most fantastic Vilnius attractions.

During the tour, you explore the cobblestone streets of the Old Town and visit the Vilnius Cathedral and go inside the oldest university in Lithuania dating back to 1579 - the Vilnius University (entrance tickets are included).

After the tour, you are transferred to your centrally located hotel and have the rest of the day free.

 

Day 3

Transfer to Riga

In the morning you have breakfast at the hotel and check out. Your driver meets you at your hotel and you have a private transfer to the capital of Latvia, the city of Riga.

After check-in in your central Riga hotel, you have the rest of the day free so you can either start exploring the city on your own and dine in a local restaurant or relax in your room preparing for the Riga sightseeing tour next day.

 

Day 4

Riga Sightseeing & Transfer to Tallinn

After breakfast, you check out from the hotel. You meet your guide in the hotel lobby and go on a 3-hour walking city tour around the most interesting Riga attractions.

During the tour, you take a walk down the cobblestone streets of the Old Town, visit the Dome Cathedral and the Church of St. Peter (entrance tickets are included). You then explore the heart of Riga’s Art Nouveau heritage - the famous Albert street, abundant in beautiful buildings with unusual sculptures, colored bricks and tiles, geometric ornaments and uniquely shaped windows.

In the evening you are taken from Riga to Tallinn by private transfer. Upon arrival to Tallinn, you check-in to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.

 

Day 5

Tallinn Walking Tour

In the morning after breakfast, you meet your guide at the hotel lobby and go on a wonderful 3-hour walking tour around the most magnificent attractions of Tallinn.

During the tour, you explore both Upper and Lower parts of the Old Town. In the Upper Old Town, you visit the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and go inside the Dome Church and admire magnificent views over the city rooftops from the observation platform.

In the Lower Old Town, you see the wonderful Town Hall Square and the Town Council's Pharmacy believed to be the oldest working pharmacy in Europe. Then you proceed to St. Catherine’s Passage that provides numerous shopping opportunities at the local craft workshops, including glass, leather and ceramic wares, and finish the tour next to the iconic Viru Gates.

After the tour, you are transferred to your centrally located hotel and have the rest of the day free.

 

Day 6

Transfer to St. Petersburg

Today following breakfast you check out from the hotel. You meet your driver who takes you to the rail station for your train to St. Petersburg.

In the afternoon you arrive in the magnificent Northern capital of Russia - St. Petersburg! Your driver meets you at the train station and transfers you to your hotel located in the very heart of St. Petersburg.

There is no program planned for this evening, so after check-in, you can either start exploring the city center on your own or have a good rest.

 

Day 7

St. Petersburg Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, you meet your private guide at the hotel lobby and start to explore the crown jewel of all Russian cities and one of the world's most amazing travel destinations - splendid St. Petersburg!

Your 6-hour sightseeing tour starts with a visit to Peter and Paul Fortress (entrance tickets are included). It is a burial place of almost all the Russian emperors and empresses from Peter the Great to Nicholas II and his family.

After lunch in the city center, your tour continues to the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, which stands where Russia's great emperor Alexander II was mortally wounded, then on to the famous St. Isaac's Cathedral (entrance tickets are included in the price).

You also explore St. Isaac's Square and observe the following from outside: the Mariinsky Theater, the Hermitage, the Winter Palace, the Palace Square, the Spit of Vasilievskiy Island, the Bronze Horseman Statue, the Peter's Log Cabin, the Cruiser Aurora, the Smolny Palace, the Nevsky Prospect, the Arts Square and other outstanding sites of this wonderful city.

  • Optional evening program: St. Petersburg boasts some of the best theaters in the world. Ask your tour specialist to arrange the tickets for you.

Day 8

Tour of the Hermitage Museum

Following breakfast, you meet your guide at the hotel lobby and go to the legendary Hermitage Museum, that houses its unique collection of world art, including the masterpieces of Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, El Greco, Francisco Goya and Thomas Gainsborough in the halls of the Winter Palace.

They say that if you were to spend three minutes by each of the exhibits in the Hermitage, it would have taken you three years to see the entire exhibition. But don't worry - you have an experienced guide, who will show you the best rooms and halls of the exhibit within several hours.

After the tour, you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.

  • Optional tour: St. Petersburg Rivers and Canals tour
    A visit to St. Petersburg won't be complete without a magnificent boat ride across its numerous rivers and canals that are an inherent part of the romantic image of the city. This tour is an excellent opportunity to discover the most wonderful city gems, including the Peter and Paul's Fortress, St. Isaac's Cathedral, Church of Our Savior on Spilled Blood, and Winter Palace (Hermitage Museum) to name a few, from an absolutely different perspective.

Day 9

Trip to Peterhof

After breakfast, you meet your guide in the hotel lobby and travel to the outskirts of St. Petersburg to explore the former summer residence of Russian tsars and the gem of palace architecture - Peterhof. It is located on the banks of the Gulf of Finland and is most famous for its Versailles-inspired parks and fountains.

During the tour, you visit the famous Bath Cottage and take a walk in the beautiful Lower Park, lavishly adorned with 176 fountains of various forms and styles and numerous gilded statues of ancient gods and heroes.

After the tour, you return to the hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 10

Departure from St. Petersburg

This is the final day of your amazing Baltic Capitals and St. Petersburg tour. After breakfast you check out from the hotel and your private driver takes you to the airport for your flight back home.
