A GLIMPSE AT DANISH HISTORY
The National Museum is the largest museum of cultural history in Denmark. And it has it all! Ancient animal skeletons, Viking treasures and Renaissance artifacts - learn the history of Denmark from prehistoric times through the Viking era and Middle ages and all the way up to modern Denmark. And it's all free!

The museum's main building is located at the center of Copenhagen and possesses exhibits from all around the world, from many cultures and different time periods. It has a very large ethnographic collection, a collection of classical and near eastern antiquities, a coin- and medal collection, and even a toy museum. We say it's a real must see.
