Beautiful Norway and Svalbard Trip
It was a good trip and I enjoyed seeing beautiful Norway. The airport transfers to the hotels and back went very smoothly.
There did seem to be a disconnect when it came to the various local tours -- as if the booking person had not any first-hand knowledge. It would be helpful to know more information in advance. Specifically: there are boat trips which will provide the gear [so you do not have to lug it with you] and a different kind of boat trip provides nothing [better bring full warm clothing!]. Also, on one trip we found out after getting on the bus that we were expected to be driving ATVs-- surprise! The vaunted dog-sledding option is misleading --- since there is no snow, the dogs will be pulling you on a cart down the road.
We do know there will always be some glitches when travelling! But thank you again for organizing our trip.
