Fotografiska is a place for contemporary photography in the heart of Stockholm. The stylish museum is located at Stadsgarden, in a former industrial Art Nouveau style building dating from 1906. The museum has a display space of 2,500 square meters, and features 4 major exhibitions per year along with 10-15 smaller exhibitions.
The museum is also a popular meeting place for photography professionals and fans. Fotografiska offers various seminars, workshops and courses on photography. It is also worth visiting the trendy Fotografiska bar with one of Stockholm’s very best view points. As well as the museum restaurant which is said to have amazing food served with a fantastic view of Grona Lund, Gamla Stan and the Royal Palace.
